It’s The End For Her: Ilhan Omar Reaction To McCarthy’s Win Was Priceless!

Ilhan Omar, the proud antiAmerican congresswoman from Minnesota, had the audacity to call out House Speaker Kevin McCarthy‘s plans to remove her from the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Apparently, in Omar‘s view, McCarthy‘s decision was not in line with the values of the American people. What a joke! It‘s clear that Omar is more interested in pushing her own agenda than in representing the people she was elected to serve.

McCarthy is right to be taking action against someone whose views could potentially be dangerous to the nation‘s security. What kind of message would it send to the rest of the world if we allowed her to be a part of a powerful committee like Foreign Affairs? Let‘s hope that McCarthy‘s decision sends a clear message that we don‘t tolerate antiAmerican rhetoric.

“I have not [received any updates],” Omar said. “It’s my understanding that we obviously have to get the rules package done. Hopefully, Monday when we reconvene, that is on top of the agenda, and then the different caucuses, our caucus and their conference, will make appointments to committees and we will go from there.”

After bashing McCarthy, Omar attempted to use her heritage as a reason to not remove her from the committee suggesting that it would make McCarthy look bad.

“I do have to say for a speaker that has faced a historic humiliation — that had gotten elected after 15 rounds, surpassing a record that was set pre-Civil War — there is an opportunity here as he has said to not do things in the way in which it has been done before,” she explained. “I think it would be hypocritic [sic] for him to remove, you know, the first African born on subcommittee on Africa on the Foreign Affairs Committee where I’ve had the opportunity to not only represent my constituents, but the voice of so many people who have never had a voice on the Foreign Affairs Committee.”

The election of Representative Ilhan Omar in 2018 certainly shook things up. From her antiIsrael positions and remarks, to her comments about the United States and the Taliban, she has been a controversial figure.

So controversial, in fact, that in late 2020, after the Republicans won back the House in the November midterms, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy vowed to remove her from the Foreign Affairs Committee if the Republicans retook the House referring to her asantiAmerican andantisemitic“.
