She Has Millions But She Still Wants More, Sunny Hostin Demands Reparations

Monday was a day of remembrance for the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy of equality and justice. Unfortunately, ABC’s The View had other plans, as they saw fit to have former federal prosecutor and staunch racist, Sunny Hostin, use the show as a platform to decry the public’s adoption of King’s dream of judging a person solely by their character and not the color of their skin.

Hostin then proceeded to demand reparations, as if that was ever part of the dream. She scoffed at the idealization of King’s dream, claiming that he was a “radical” and that he wanted “wealth redistribution”. Not to be outdone, co-host Whoopi Goldberg had her own take on the issue, suggesting the entire banking system was racist because it was “not set up for black people” and that women today are not considered human.

The utter disrespect for the legacy of Dr. King is shameful. It is an egregious act of revisionist history to suggest that King ever wanted or supported the idea of wealth redistribution or reparations. This is an insult to the very essence of his dream and the sacrifices he made to ensure equality and justice for all.

Dr. King’s speeches and sermons are a testament to his commitment to equality and justice. He believed in the power of love and non-violence to bring about lasting change. He called for a society that judged individuals based solely on the content of their character, not the color of their skin. He never once mentioned wealth redistribution or reparations in any of his speeches.

Watch

The left’s pursuit of ‘equity’ and not equality, is pulling us farther from the dream of a just and equitable nation that King fought and died for. The woke ideology of the left is an affront to the legacy of Dr. King and it is a disgrace that they would use this day to further their own agenda of division and hatred.

It is time for the left to stop hijacking the legacy of Dr. King. It is time for them to recognize that true equality and justice is attained through love and understanding, not wealth redistribution and reparations. It is time to stand up for the dream of equality that Dr. King fought and died for.
