Take A Look At Antifa’s ‘Peaceful Protest’ In Georgia- Disgusting!

The recent events in Atlanta have highlighted the hypocrisy of the left in the most stunning and infuriating way. They claim to want police to be “retrained” and yet, when plans are set in motion to do just that, they take to the streets in protest, resulting in violence and destruction of property.

It all started when the Atlanta Police Foundation announced plans to build the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center – a facility designed to train law enforcement in the latest strategies for keeping the peace. But instead of embracing the move as a step forward in the effort to bridge the gap between the public and law enforcement, activists took to the streets to protest the building of the facility.

What’s more, this “Night of Rage” protest, organized by the Antifa movement, was anything but peaceful. Protesters took to the streets, smashing windows and torching a police car in an act of blatant lawlessness.

What’s worse is that some of the protesters were not even from the city or even the state of Georgia. This begs the question, what right do these outsiders have to come into our city, disrespect our laws and citizens, and then expect to walk away unscathed?

The answer is simple – they don’t. The police acted swiftly and decisively, arresting six of the protesters who had turned violent. The charges against them have not yet been released, but it is clear that they will be facing justice for their actions.

But the real issue here is that the left is far too quick to call for reform and “retraining” of the police yet when a solution is presented, they reject it. Instead of recognizing that the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center is a positive step in the right direction, they choose to protest it and cause chaos.

It’s time for the activists to recognize that peaceful protests and dialogue are the only way to effect real change. The left should stop using violence as a tool and instead focus on constructive solutions that will bring about lasting reform.
