Woke Madness Hits The Schools’ Bathroom Policies Again, Here Are Their New Demands

It’s becoming clear that the liberal agenda is getting out of hand. The latest example: a bill in Minnesota that would make menstrual products available in all public and charter school bathrooms, including those for boys.

Rep. Dean Urdahl, a Republican, proposed an amendment to limit the products to bathrooms used by female students. That just makes sense. But the amendment failed, due to objections from Rep. Sandra Feist, a Democrat-Farmer-Labor.

Feist argued that the amendment was impractical and obsolete, since many schools are moving towards gender-neutral bathrooms. She also claimed that not all menstruating students are female, and that non-female menstruators face a greater stigma and barrier to asking for these products.

“There are a lot of schools that are moving towards gender-neutral bathrooms, and if we add ‘female,’ we might become obsolete very quickly,” Feist said.

“Second, not all students who menstruate are female,” Feist continued. “We need to make sure all students have access to these products. There are obviously less non-female menstruating students and therefore their usage will be much lower. That was actually calculated into the cost of this.”

Bullshit. We need to draw the line somewhere, and this is a good place to start. This is just common sense. We all want to be considerate and inclusive, but this is taking it too far. We shouldn’t be pandering to a “woke” agenda that doesn’t make sense.

It’s becoming increasingly clear that the Democrats don’t understand the implications of their actions. They’re so focused on this “woke” mentality that they’re ignoring basic common sense. This is why we can’t let the “woke” movement get out of control. We have to stand up for common sense.

When it comes to providing menstrual products in school bathrooms, the answer is simple: make them available to the people who need them the most. It’s not rocket science. We don’t have to go overboard with our efforts to be inclusive. We just have to use common sense.
