Watch: Scarborough Fantasizes About Being A Black Man Brutalized By Police

Recently, Joe Scarborough, self-proclaimed woke white-privilege-virtue-signaling warrior, showed his true colors on Morning Joe. While discussing the death of Tyre Nichols (a 29-year-old black male), Scarborough proclaimed, “No police officer would have done this to me when I was 29-years-old, a middle class white guy. Nobody–they wouldn’t have dared. Because they knew that if they did, if they beat the hell out of a 29-year-old, middle class white guy, that hell would rain down from above.”

But Scarborough’s sentiment didn’t match reality. Five Memphis police officers did beat a 29-year-old black man and faced serious consequences. In the blink of an eye, the five Memphis cops were all fired and charged with murder.

Scarborough’s statements were further discredited by the fact that the officers involved in the incident were all black. Al Sharpton, who was on the panel with Scarborough, agreed with him, but failed to mention this inconvenient truth.

It seems Scarborough was so eager to get his virtue-signaling on the record that he didn’t even stop to consider the facts. What’s more, four of the five officers were already on the radar of the Memphis Police Department, having previously been suspended or received written reprimands.

These officers had been disciplined for failing to report when they used physicality, failing to report alleged domestic violence, or for damages to their squad cars. It’s clear that Tyre Nichol’s death was not racially motivated.

Watch

So, the next time Scarborough wants to criticize the police, he should remember that the officers involved in this incident faced serious consequences for their actions. Law enforcement officers are held to the highest standards and must be held accountable when they fail to meet those standards.

It’s time for Scarborough to put his money where his mouth is and stop virtue-signaling. Next time, he should focus on facts and realities, not pandering to the left.
