Dems Plan To Use Taxpayer’s Money On Illegal Driver’s License Scheme

Today, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey has proposed to spend $28,000,000 in order to implement a policy allowing illegal immigrants to get driver’s licenses. This measure follows a bill that was passed by state legislators and upheld by voters in the Commonwealth.

At first glance, this policy may seem like a step forward for safety and equity, however, upon closer inspection it is clear that this proposal is a mistake. Illegal immigration is a serious issue and it should not be encouraged or rewarded. Allowing illegal immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses sends the wrong message and could lead to an increase in illegal immigration into the state.

Furthermore, it is a waste of taxpayer money to fund this policy. It will cost the state to hire more customer service representatives and road test examiners, invest in new technology, develop data privacy procedures, and expand service hours at the RMV in order to accommodate the new policy. This money could be better spent on programs that actually benefit the citizens of Massachusetts.

In addition, this policy could lead to increased competition for jobs and wages as illegal immigrants will now be able to legally drive and seek employment. This could put a strain on the state’s resources, such as schools and hospitals, as the population of illegal immigrants grows.

Finally, it is important to note that this policy is essentially a “free pass” for people to enter the country illegally. This sends the wrong message and could lead to an increase in criminal activity by unauthorized immigrants, as some of them may use the licenses for fraudulent purposes.

It is clear that this policy is a mistake. It is a waste of taxpayer money and it could lead to an increase in illegal immigration and criminal activity. Illegal immigration is a serious issue and it should not be encouraged or rewarded.

Voters will need to oppose this policy and demand that our taxpayer dollars be used for programs that benefit Massachusetts citizens.

  3. It would be illegal to do so – if they are illegal send them back across the border why should I as a taxpayer spend my money on illegal aliens. No welfare checks – nohousing – no Obama phones – back to where they came from – WWe The People are supposed to say what happens in this Country – it is a Republic – Impeach the Fool in the WH Now

    1. Any state that allows illegals anything that is illegal for anyone else should not be allowed to have any say in any kind of federal election. So Massachusetts should not be counted in any federal election at all. And they should not have any House or Senate Representation in DC either. BUT YOU KNOW THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN! Every person that crossed our border has broken FEDERAL LAWS. Hell You cannot even cross the border down in big bend without a passport to get back. And down there you can just walk across the Rio Grand but to get back you have to show a passport and show it to someone through a video with someone in DC. So why in the h%ll should anyone be given a DL who will never even carry INS. to cover damages they will do to one of us AMERICANS. I know it happened to me. I got put in the Hospital with broken ankle and a destroyed motorcycle. She was back to work the next day.

  4. “Marriage certification or a divorce decree” – So those who have never been married – what becomes of them? I don’t have those. Why is the state giving driver’s licenses to people who are here illegally? Why are services being provided for these “visitors” at taxpayer expense? I can see the need for a DP camp, basic necessities until they can be processed – Corps of Engineers can set up barracks, Camp Kilmer style, in a matter of days. These unfortunate, deluded people need shelter rather than leaving them wandering loose with no established facilities and a military style camp facility can provide it and give the Corps of Engineers (who are on taxpayer paid salary anyway) useful exercise of their trade.
