Comer Rips Into Bragg’s Case Against Trump: ‘This Is A Political Stunt’

It’s sad to see the Democrats stoop to such lengths in order to gain the upper hand in the political landscape. The recent allegations against former President Donald Trump surrounding the hush-money payment to Stormy Daniels have sparked a political firestorm – and it appears as though the Department of Justice is trying to use the legal system to prosecute Trump for political purposes, instead of actually seeking justice.

House Republicans have demanded that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg provide all documents and communications related to his investigation into Trump, and have also requested a transcribed interview to Congress. However, Republican Kentucky Rep. James Comer, Chair of the House Oversight Committee, has spoken out against Bragg’s investigation, calling it a “political stunt”.

“We don’t believe tax dollars should be spent for this. We believe this is a political stunt by Mr Bragg. We believe the statute of limitations has expired on all of this stuff,” Comer stated in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union”.

It’s clear that the Democrats are willing to go to any lengths to advance their agenda – from the IRS targeting of conservative groups to the Mueller investigation. This is only the latest example of the Democrats’ corrupt tactics, and it’s time for us to take a stand and make sure that justice is served.

No one, regardless of their political beliefs, should be above the law. We must demand that the DOJ and the Democrats stop using the legal system as a weapon against their political opponents. The charges against Trump are almost certainly motivated by political gain, rather than actual criminal activity, and it’s unacceptable for the DOJ and the Democrats to be using the legal system to advance their own political agenda.

We must stand up against this corruption and fight for justice and vote out the clowns who put people like Braggs into power.

We must hold the DOJ and the Democrats accountable for their actions and make sure that justice is served. That’s why it’s so important that we all do our part to demand that the DOJ and the Democrats stop using the legal system as a tool to gain the upper hand in the political landscape. Let’s make sure that the rule of law is upheld, and that justice is served.
