It’s time to call out the left for their “science-denying” behavior when it comes to the issue of gender.
We saw this on full display on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday when GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and moderator Chuck Todd had a heated exchange over the science of gender.
Ramaswamy argued that it was reasonable to oppose genital mutilation and chemical castration of children, yet Todd jumped in to take issue with this stance. He asked Ramaswamy if he was “confident” that gender is a binary, as if there’s any scientific evidence to the contrary.
Unfortunately, there isn’t. There’s not one example of legitimate scientific research that proves gender is a spectrum and not a binary.
When Ramaswamy politely disagreed with Todd, he explained that “Gender Dysphoria for most of our history all the way through the DSM-5 has been characterized as a mental health disorder.”
Yet Todd interjected to advocate children getting their genitals mutilated or chemically castrated to prevent them from committing suicide – a common form of emotional blackmail used by trans activists.
Ramaswamy explained that “We’ve created a culture that teaches parents that they’re being bigoted or that they’re bad people if they don’t actually take those steps.”
He added that “Gender Dysphoria for the rare few people who’ve suffered it, is a condition of suffering. My question is why on Earth are we going out of our way to create even more of it?”
The answer is simple: because the left has convinced people that their woke narratives are science, when in reality, they’re not. The science is clear: gender is a binary, determined by biology.
It’s time for the left to stop pushing their unscientific narratives and start listening to actual science. We owe it to those suffering with Gender Dysphoria to help them get the help they need, not ignore biology and pretend that multiple genders exist.
