Biden Is At It Again: ‘They Are All Our Kids’ While Defending Sex-Change Treatments For Children

Joe Biden claimed (again) that children in the U.S. are “all our kids” and that “there’s no such thing as someone else’s child” are misguided and not grounded in reason.

We must push back against the notion that the federal government has any kind of parental authority. Biden’s defense of minors getting sex-change treatments goes against this notion, and as a result, has throughly raised alarm among Republicans and parents alike.

Sixteen states have outlawed medical treatments for minors that alter gender, such as puberty blockers, chemical castration and the removal of healthy sex tissue. Biden, though, continues to defend the idea of providing such treatments, and his comments demonstrate he is pushing for the federal government to not only allow but also to support sex-change kit treatments.

No strong evidence exists that these treatments benefit minors, and data suggest the impacts of such treatments on the emotional and physical well-being of those under 18 are ultimately detrimental. Most troubling is the fact that these treatments do not have to be authorized by parental guardians.

This means young people may receive treatments without the legal authority of their guardians.

Biden’s rhetoric is divorced from evidence-based facts and instead relies on emotional appeals in order to push his agenda through. Each Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential election has denounced the notion of allowing hormone therapy and other sex-change treatments to minors, while Biden has gone in the complete opposite direction.

Though he claims to understand that all children are everyone’s children and that it is important to “treat everyone in this country” with respect, his defense of minors getting sex-change treatments proves he is not listening to reason.

What private parental decisions ought to be allowed remains a point of contention, but no matter how one feels, it is important to keep in mind that the responsibility ultimately rests with consenting parents. Government intervention should be kept to a minimum and not encouraged in such matters. (Clip of where I got the photo for this story. Biden getting handsy with a child-AGAIN!)
