The Biden administration has been heavily criticized for reaching a $6 billion deal with Iran in exchange for the release of five American hostages. This dangerous decision only came under fire by Republican lawmakers further when the Islamic terror group Hamas launched its most devastating attack on Israel since the 1970s, leaving over 3,200 dead, according to reports.
The White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan was called out by “Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker for his inappropriate assessment of tensions in the Middle East. Welker asked Sullivan point blank why his estimation was “so off the mark.”
In response, Sullivan’s explanation highlighted previous Middle Eastern conflicts, asserting that the region was “quieter today” following the 9/11 terror attacks—an incredibly immaterial point, given the horrifying one-week attack in Israel. Adding to public outrage, National Security spokesperson John Kirby admitted that Iran would be able to access the $6 billion from the deal in “chunks” shortly after suggesting the amount would not be sufficient for Hamas to fund its attack.
It’s an outright travesty that the Biden administration put naïve foreign policy over national security, putting innocent Israeli lives at stake. This careless decision should not go unpunished, especially given Hamas’ appalling reports of torturing, murdering and raping innocent babies and contributions unspeakable acts of violence against adults and children alike.
The Biden administration, including this Sullivan clown, must take accountability for these abhorrent actions and do their part to ensure such atrocities are not repeated in the future. They want to make it out like they’re funding US security in the Middle-East when we can all clearly see what those funds are being used for. I refuse to believe anyone is that naive.
Forgive me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe I am and I know I am not alone on this one…
