Former FBI Agent Responds To Calls To Take In Refugees After Hamas Attack

Nicole Parker, a former FBI agent, criticized the Democrats’ views on admitting refugees from Gaza, calling them “extremely dangerous.” She pointed out that the United States is already a prime target for terrorism and that the left’s desire to welcome anyone without proper vetting could put the country at even higher risk. Parker stressed the importance of knowing who enters the country to ensure safety and security. With existing issues at the U.S. border, she argued that taking in refugees without proper vetting would only add to the problem. Even legal immigrants, she cautioned, could pose a threat due to insufficient vetting procedures, citing incidents in Belgium as a prime example.

Host Jesse Watters raised concerns about the 9/11 attacks, which were celebrated by many Palestinians, and questioned whether it would be possible to properly vet individuals from Gaza. He also pointed out that President Joe Biden had claimed that vetting Gaza residents would be feasible, though Watters was skeptical.

Parker acknowledged that the vetting process is complicated and challenging. She also warned that some seemingly vetted individuals could take advantage of the Israel-Hamas conflict to carry out acts of violence. She also mentioned the existence of dormant terrorist groups lurking on the fringes, waiting for an opportunity to strike the U.S.

GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley initially expressed support for admitting Gazan refugees but later backtracked her statement. Her spokesperson clarified that Haley actually opposes admitting Gazans and believes that countries like Iran, Qatar, and Turkey – who support Hamas – should take in any refugees.

Meanwhile, Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez believes that the U.S. has a historical responsibility to open its doors to refugees from all over the world and give them a chance to start over.

Parker stressed that the left’s stance on admitting Gaza refugees is irresponsible and dangerous, especially with the ongoing tensions in the region. She also pointed out the need to prioritize the safety and security of American citizens and properly vet individuals before allowing them into the country. With the possibility of dormant terrorist groups taking advantage of the situation, Parker urged caution and emphasized the importance of proper screening processes.

WATCH

As tensions between Israel and Hamas continue to escalate, the issue of admitting Gazan refugees has become a controversial topic. While both Republicans and Democrats acknowledge the plight of civilians in Gaza, their approaches to the issue differ vastly.

Republicans, like Haley, believe that countries that support Hamas should shoulder the responsibility of providing refuge, while Democrats, like Ocasio-Cortez, believe that the U.S. should fulfill its role as a safe haven for those in need. However, as Parker cautions, the safety and security of American citizens must be a top priority, and measures must be taken to ensure that those seeking refuge do not pose a threat to the country.
