WATCH: Biden Supporters Exposed as Ignorant Protesters on NYU Campus!

College: the money sink that leaves many former students in debt slavery for years to come. Rudy Giuliani, New York City’s eight-time mayor-turned-podcaster, recently shared a video featuring college students at New York University, protesting Israel’s retaliatory military actions in Gaza. The so-called “protestors” were confronted by an interviewer from the Common Sense Podcast, tasked with answering simple questions about their involvement in the demonstration. The response given to a seemingly innocuous initial inquiry was stunningly underwhelming.

When asked about the main goal of the current protest, one young woman gave a vague response about showing “support for Palestine” and protesting against “NYU’s actions.” However, when pressed for more specific details, the woman admitted to the interviewer that she had no understanding of the situation, saying, “I honestly don’t know all of what NYU is doing.” It is a shocking admission, to be sure, from someone participating in a potentially confrontational protest and potentially facing legal consequences.

This level of abject ignorance seems to be a symptom of a larger trend among young adults: blindly following popular causes without much thought or understanding. These college students appeared to be caught up in the “woke” movement, where social and political issues are blindly supported just because they’re trendy and “cool.” It’s a sad reflection of the current state of college campuses, where apathetic, ill-informed students have become the norm.

The young woman’s friend, also a demonstrator, was of no help either. When asked if there was “something NYU was doing,” she replied, “I wish I was more educated.” It’s disheartening to think that these individuals have spent tens of thousands of dollars to attend a prestigious university, yet can barely articulate the reason for their presence at a protest. One has to question the value of higher education if it only leads to conformity and unchallenged groupthink.

It’s alarming to think that these college students, who are given the privilege to vote and shape the future of their country, are so lacking in knowledge on important issues. It’s not just a matter of being uninformed; it’s a symptom of a bigger problem. These young adults have been indoctrinated with the idea that actions like protesting are enough, that simply showing up and making a statement is all that’s required. It is no wonder they feel no shame in admitting their ignorance.

Meanwhile, the New York Police Department has openly stated that these protestors are playing a “performative game.” They get arrested, but face no real consequences and go right back to protesting once released. It’s a vicious cycle that gives these individuals a sense of righteous superiority and virtue signaling, but does nothing to actually address the situation or bring about change. It’s a superficial, surface-level attempt to gain social approval and validation.

The young woman who struggled to articulate the reason for her participation in the protest may have seemed ashamed, but in reality, she is just a victim of the toxic liberal culture that permeates college campuses today. Universities, traditionally places that foster critical thinking and intellectual dialogue, have become breeding grounds for blind conformity and narrow-mindedness. And it only takes a few minutes of speaking with a college protestor to see that this unfortunate trend is not likely to change any time soon.
