Kamala Harris’ VP Pick Tim Walz’s Disturbing DUI Resurfaces!

As information surrounding the 1995 DUI arrest of Democratic Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota is resurfacing, it is becoming increasingly clear that Walz’s radical leftist policies and socialist leanings should alarm Americans. While the arrest itself may not be disqualifying, it certainly adds to the overall picture of Walz as a dangerous and irresponsible public figure.

At the time of his arrest, Walz was a 31-year-old teacher in Nebraska. According to the New York Post, he was pulled over after driving more than 40 mph over the speed limit and subsequently failed both a sobriety and breath test.

Despite this, he only received a reckless driving charge, suggesting a lenient treatment that could have fueled his later support for soft-on-crime policies.

To further mitigate the incident, Walz’s lawyer claimed that he had been driving recklessly due to paranoia, stating, “Mr. Walz thought somebody was chasing him.”

However, the court transcript tells a different story, with a state trooper’s report noting a strong odor of alcohol coming from Walz’s breath and person. This casts doubt on the validity of Walz’s excuse and raises questions about his honesty.

Furthermore, Walz’s campaign manager during his 2006 run for Congress attempted to explain away the incident by blaming it on his hearing loss. According to Kerry Greeley,

Walz couldn’t understand what the officer was saying to him. However, the court documents do not support this excuse. In fact, the presiding judge scolded Walz for drinking and driving, referring to him as a role model for kids and expressing disappointment in seeing a teacher caught for such offenses.

Despite attempts to downplay the incident, Walz’s 1995 mugshot has been making the rounds on social media, with some users claiming that he lied to police about his hearing loss. While Walz did have surgery to repair his hearing, his advocates’ attempts to excuse his behavior with dishonest explanations only add to the perception of Walz as an untrustworthy public figure.

Ultimately, the DUI arrest itself may not be enough to disqualify Walz from public office. However, it does offer a glimpse into his character and behavior, which should cause concern for voters.

As more information about Walz’s radical leftist policies and endorsement of socialism comes to light, voters should carefully consider whether he is fit to hold a position of power. In the end, Walz’s 1995 DUI arrest may not be the scandal that sinks his career, but it certainly sheds light on his questionable character and judgment.
