On Wednesday, former President Bill Clinton attended the funeral of Ethel Kennedy, the late widow of Robert F. Kennedy. However, rather than offering a respectful eulogy, Clinton took the opportunity to go into feral mode and make some questionable remarks about Ethel.
In a video of the funeral, Clinton can be heard saying, “Your mother was the cat’s meow. I remember she would flirt with me in the most innocent ways.” He then goes on to say, “Maybe it’s the only thing I’m vice presidential at. I don’t know.” These remarks, while seemingly innocent, raise some eyebrows and cast a negative light on Clinton’s character.
Firstly, referencing someone as “the cat’s meow” is an odd choice of words at a funeral. It has connotations of flirtatiousness and suggests a level of intimacy between Clinton and Ethel that is inappropriate to bring up in a public setting, especially during a somber occasion like a funeral. It also calls into question the nature of their relationship and whether or not there may have been something more going on between them.
But this is not the first time Clinton has said or done something questionable. Just last Sunday, at a campaign event for Harris-Walz, Clinton made a statement that played right into Trump’s hands. He suggested that if illegals crossing the southern border were properly vetted by the current administration, Laken Riley’s murder could have been prevented. This kind of statement only serves to support Trump’s stance on immigration and reinforces the need for stricter border control.

It’s no secret that Bill Clinton has a long history of questionable behavior and controversial statements. From his affair with Monica Lewinsky to his infamous “I did not have sexual relations with that woman” declaration, Clinton has never been known for his moral compass. And yet, despite all of this, he continues to be held in high regard by many in the Democratic party.
But as supporters of President Trump, we cannot turn a blind eye to Clinton’s behavior and continue to support those who align themselves with him. At a time when we are fighting for stronger border security and stricter immigration policies, the last thing we need is a former president making remarks that undermine our efforts.
In contrast, President Trump has consistently stood firm on his stance regarding immigration and has taken steps to secure the border and protect Americans. We need a leader who is strong, principled, and committed to putting America first, not someone who flirts with the widow of a senator at a funeral or makes misguided comments about immigration.
Clinton’s remarks at Ethel Kennedy’s funeral only serve to reinforce what we already know about him: he is a man with a questionable moral compass and questionable judgment. And as supporters of President Trump and his agenda, we must reject those like Clinton and the Democratic party who continue to align themselves with him. We need a leader who will make America safe and put the interests of our citizens first.
