According to a report from First Alert 4 in Missouri, an illegal immigrant named Endrina Bracho has been released from prison just in time for Christmas. This decision was made by Circuit Judge Bruce Hilton, who reduced Bracho’s bond from $500,000 cash-only to no longer include a cash amount.
Bracho has been behind bars since March for her alleged involvement in a deadly car crash that killed 12-year-old Travis Wolfe. The crash occurred in December 2023, when Bracho was driving 75 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour zone, going the wrong way down a road. As a result of the crash, Wolfe was put into a coma and passed away on March 6th of the following year.
Meanwhile, Bracho’s release from prison comes just one day before the anniversary of the crash. This decision has understandably outraged the family of the victim. Taylor Wolfe, Travis’s sister, still carries around a stuffed giraffe that holds a recording of his heartbeat. She had this to say about Bracho’s release: “I was pretty mad. I don’t think she deserves it.”
Missouri Republican Senator Josh Hawley also expressed his disapproval of the decision on Twitter, stating: “She should be in prison every single day until tried.” He also pointed out that Bracho is an illegal immigrant and a flight risk, making her release all the more concerning.
