Vice President JD Vance’s recent visit to Marine Corps Base Quantico was a powerful reminder of why President Trump made the perfect choice in selecting him as his running mate. While the liberal media continues to push their divisive narratives, Vance showcased true leadership by connecting with troops, firing heavy weaponry, and reaffirming the military’s return to merit-based excellence.
Speaking to Marines, Vance made it clear that the days of forced DEI quotas and woke indoctrination are over: “No more quotas, no more ridiculous mumbo jumbo, no more diversity trainings,” he declared. “We believe the real strength and the real diversity in the United States Marine Corps is that you all come from every walk of life, every corner of America, and you have got the strength and the purpose to win the nation’s wars.” These words stand in stark contrast to the Biden-era military, which prioritized political correctness over combat readiness.
Vance didn’t just talk the talk—he walked the walk. After addressing the troops, he rolled up his sleeves, served lunch in the chow hall, and then headed to the gun range, where he fired an M27, M107, and M240B machine gun, as well as an inert Howitzer and a drone. The footage of Vance handling weapons with confidence sent a clear message: this is a leader who understands and respects the military’s core mission.
The Marines at Quantico responded with enthusiasm. Lieutenants told Fox News Digital they were thrilled to see a former Marine in the White House, even as they acknowledged some new social media restrictions. The contrast between Vance’s hands-on leadership and the liberal media’s obsession with identity politics couldn’t be more obvious. While left-wing outlets mock his pro-military stance, real servicemen and women appreciate a vice president who prioritizes combat readiness over woke ideology.
Vance’s tweet from the visit said it all:
“Spent the day with some of America’s finest at Quantico. Fired a few rounds, shared some laughs, and reminded ourselves what makes this country great: the men and women willing to defend it.”

Become VP, get to shoot machine guns with Marines. Not a bad gig! https://t.co/1dK4AfA9Hy

The liberal media, of course, will ignore the substance of his message and instead focus on manufactured outrage. But for Americans who value strength, patriotism, and a military free from political manipulation, Vance’s actions speak louder than any smear campaign.
