Watch: Canada’s Desperate Move to Hurt Americans Exposed!

Ontario Premier Doug Ford, leader of the Progressive Conservative Party, once again revealed his petty vindictiveness in response to President Donald Trump’s latest economic policies aimed at protecting American jobs and industry. Ford, who has a history of making empty threats against the U.S., lashed out during a press conference in Toronto, vowing to retaliate against Trump’s tariffs by targeting the American people.

“I can assure you one thing,” Ford seethed to reporters. “We’re gonna make sure that we inflict as much pain as possible on the American people.”

This grotesque statement underscores the desperation of Canadian leaders who refuse to acknowledge the fairness of Trump’s policies. Rather than working toward mutually beneficial trade agreements, Ford and the liberal Canadian establishment would rather punish hardworking Americans for their own economic shortcomings.

Ford also revealed that he had spoken with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, urging him to specifically “target American cars” in retaliation. “We buy as many cars off the U.S. as we sell down there,” he whined, attempting to justify his hostile stance. But this argument falls flat—Trump’s tariffs are designed to correct trade imbalances and bring manufacturing back to the U.S., a move that has already revitalized American industries.

This isn’t the first time Ford has made reckless threats. Earlier this month, he brazenly claimed he would “shut down the electricity going down to the U.S.” if Trump continued to defend American economic interests. “If he wants to destroy our economy and our families, I will shut down the electricity going down to the U.S.,” Ford ranted. “And I’m telling you, we will do it.”

But just over a week later, Ford was forced to back down after Trump made it clear that any such action would be met with swift and severe consequences. The liberal media, of course, ignored Ford’s retreat, instead amplifying his initial bluster to paint Trump as the aggressor.

President Trump’s “Liberation Day” tariffs, set to take effect on April 2, are a necessary measure to ensure fair trade and protect American workers from exploitation by foreign nations. While globalist politicians like Ford cry foul, Trump remains steadfast in putting America First—a policy that has led to unprecedented economic growth and job creation.
