Democrats Stage Shadow Hearing Against Trump’s DOJ And US Marshall Warning

The Trump Justice Department demonstrated its unwavering commitment to upholding the rule of law by summoning U.S. Marshals to deliver a stern warning to Elizabeth Oyer, the fired Biden-era pardon attorney, against participating in a partisan “shadow” hearing orchestrated by congressional Democrats. Oyer, who was terminated last month by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche for insubordination, chose to ignore the DOJ’s lawful directive and proceeded to testify in what can only be described as a politically motivated stunt.

President Trump’s administration has been relentless in rooting out Deep State operatives who abuse their positions to undermine the executive branch. Oyer, who refused to restore actor Mel Gibson’s gun rights, openly admitted her bias to The New York Times, stating, “Giving guns back to domestic abusers is a serious matter that, in my view, is not something that I could recommend lightly because there are real consequences that flow from people who have a history of domestic violence being in possession of firearms.” Her statement reveals a clear disregard for due process and the presumption of innocence—a hallmark of the radical left’s weaponization of government.

The DOJ rightfully invoked executive privilege to prevent Oyer from divulging sensitive information in an unauthorized hearing. Yet, Oyer’s Deep State lawyer, Michael Bromwich (a known figure in anti-Trump circles who also represented disgraced FBI official Andrew McCabe), outrageously claimed that sending U.S. Marshals to deliver a legal notice was “unprecedented and completely inappropriate.” This is the same playbook used by the left to paint lawful actions as authoritarian—while they themselves engage in sham hearings designed to smear the Trump administration.

Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin, in a theatrically overdramatic performance, feigned outrage over the DOJ’s actions, ignoring the fact that Oyer was no longer a government employee and had no legal right to participate in unofficial proceedings.

Meanwhile, Oyer grandstanded before the Democrats, declaring“I’m here because I will not be bullied into concealing the ongoing corruption and the abuse of power at the Department of Justice.” The irony is staggering—this is the same DOJ that, under President Trump, has worked tirelessly to dismantle the very corruption entrenched by Obama and Biden-era holdovers.

The liberal media, as expected, has spun this event as an abuse of power, while ignoring the real story: a rogue former official colluding with partisan Democrats to undermine a duly elected administration. The Trump DOJ’s actions were measured, lawful, and necessary to preserve the integrity of executive branch communications.
