The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a discredited far-left organization notorious for smearing conservative groups, has sunk to a new low by labeling Turning Point USA (TPUSA)—the largest grassroots youth movement in America—as a “hate group.” This laughable accusation, placing TPUSA alongside the KKK and neo-Nazis, is nothing more than a cheap smear tactic from a washed-up organization that has spent decades fleecing scared grandmas out of their retirement savings. Charlie Kirk, TPUSA’s fearless founder, didn’t hold back in his response, calling out the SPLC’s grift and warning of their dangerous agenda.
“They’re literally putting high school chapters of ours on a hate group list next to the KKK and neo-Nazi groups,” Kirk told Laura Ingraham. “This is them trying to make us surrender. Instead, our students are going to lean in even harder.” Kirk’s defiance is justified—the SPLC’s so-called “hate map” has real-world consequences. In 2012, a left-wing extremist shot up the Family Research Council after the SPLC falsely labeled them a hate group. Now, by targeting TPUSA, the SPLC is inciting the same kind of violence against young conservatives who dare to stand for freedom.
The liberal media, of course, eagerly parrots the SPLC’s nonsense, refusing to hold the organization accountable for its long history of fraud and defamation. Once a respected civil rights group, the SPLC has devolved into a radical fundraising scheme, sitting on a $100 million war chest while pushing divisive propaganda. Even former employees have admitted it’s a “con.” Yet, the left continues to use the SPLC as a political weapon, hoping to debank, deplatform, and demonize anyone who challenges their woke agenda.
Kirk’s X post laid bare the truth: “The SPLC is a laughingstock, a hollowed-out husk of an organization that’s been exposed as a grift time and time again.” He’s right. In 2025, no thinking American takes the SPLC seriously—except for the corporate media, which relies on their smears to silence conservatives.

This attack on TPUSA is part of a broader leftist strategy to crush dissent ahead of the 2024 election. With President Donald Trump leading in the polls and the conservative movement stronger than ever, the left is panicking. They can’t debate ideas, so they resort to name-calling and censorship.
The SPLC has added Turning Point to their ridiculous “hate group” list, right next to the KKK and neo-Nazis, a cheap smear from a washed-up org that’s been fleecing scared grandmas for decades. They somehow still rake in over $100 million a year peddling their “hate map”…

But as Kirk said, being on their list is a badge of honor—proof that TPUSA is winning the battle for America’s future.
