Watch: Deranged Omar Finds A New Way To Insult Americans

Rep. Ilhan Omar’s recent comparison of the United States under President Donald Trump to a dictatorship is not only a gross mischaracterization but a profound insult to the nation that granted her refuge. Her comments, made on the YouTube channel Democracy Now!, demonstrate a startling disconnect from the reality of both America’s current strength and the horrific conditions of the failed state she fled. She stated:

“Armed men who are in plainclothes that are snatching people off the streets, unwilling to identify themselves. You have the military being deployed in our streets. My God, this is America… I grew up in a dictatorship. And I don’t even remember ever witnessing anything like that.”

This narrative, eagerly amplified by a sympathetic liberal media, is designed to paint a picture of an authoritarian America that simply does not exist. The reality Rep. Omar conveniently forgets is that her own family was forced to flee Somalia not by a strong government enforcing order, but by the complete and utter absence of one. Her privileged escape via airplane from a violent attack on their private compound stands in stark contrast to the millions of Somalis who suffered and died without any means of escape.

The situation she describes leaving behind was one of pure anarchy. Following the overthrow of its central government, Somalia was carved up by bloodthirsty warlords and militias who ruled through terror, extortion, and unchecked violence. Law and order had completely disintegrated, leaving a stateless wasteland where survival depended solely on clan loyalties and the barrel of a gun. Famine and disease ran rampant, claiming hundreds of thousands of lives.

It is against this backdrop of genuine human suffering that Rep. Omar has the audacity to criticize President Trump’s efforts to restore law and order to American cities. The President’s policy of deporting those who break our immigration laws and his commitment to protecting American citizens from the violence of rioting mobs are not the actions of a dictator. They are the solemn duties of a leader who puts the safety and security of his citizens first.

The deployment of federal personnel to protect federal property and assist local authorities where they have abdicated their responsibility is a far cry from the warlords of Mogadishu. To even suggest an equivalence is intellectually dishonest and morally reprehensible. President Trump is not terrorizing civilians; he is upholding the rule of law that forms the very bedrock of our constitutional republic—a concept entirely foreign to the Somalia of Rep. Omar’s childhood.

The liberal media’s decision to platform and champion these hysterical claims without critical context is a betrayal of journalistic integrity. They purposefully ignore the truth that President Trump’s America remains a beacon of hope, prosperity, and freedom, while simultaneously whitewashing the brutal reality of a failed state that the Congresswoman herself was fortunate to escape.

I think we all know what she can do.
