VIDEO: Trump Posts U.S. Strike Footage Against Iran, Calls It ‘Retribution’
The U.S. military began another round of strikes against Iran on Wednesday after President Trump said the ceasefire was over and warned that Tehran would be hit again.
Trump made the comments while meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Speaking to reporters, he said the United States was preparing another strike after a wave of attacks the day before.
“We’re going to hit them hard tonight,” Trump said, later adding, “They deserve it.”
The president then posted footage showing U.S. strikes against Iran. The video came as tensions surged over attacks on ships moving through the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most important waterways in the world for global energy shipments.

U.S. Central Command said the operation was ordered by the Commander in Chief and was aimed at reducing Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping in the region.
“At the direction of the Commander in Chief, U.S. Central Command forces have started conducting additional strikes against Iran to further degrade their ability to threaten freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
The United States is holding Iran accountable for recent unjustified aggression against commercial shipping and civilian crews freely navigating a vital international waterway.”
Trump described the new strikes as a direct response to Iran’s actions the day before.
“This is in retribution for yesterday’s bombing of ships by Iran. If it happens again, it will get much worse!” Trump said.
The latest action followed U.S. attacks on Iran that were launched after Tehran targeted several ships in the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday. According to the report, Iran struck three ships, including a Qatari natural gas vessel.
CENTCOM said the U.S. military hit more than 80 targets in the latest round of strikes. The stated goal was to further limit Iran’s ability to threaten ships and crews traveling through the waterway.
The Strait of Hormuz is a key route for oil and natural gas shipments. Any military action there can quickly raise fears about energy supplies, shipping costs, and wider conflict in the Middle East.
Earlier Tuesday, Trump also revoked the Iran oil sanctions waiver after the reported attacks in the Strait of Hormuz. The move added more pressure on Tehran as the White House shifted from ceasefire language to military retaliation.
The situation remains developing as U.S. forces continue operations and officials watch for any further Iranian response.
