Trump Says Shannon Bream’s Fox News Sunday Is the ‘Worst of Fake News CNN’

President Donald Trump took direct aim at Fox News host Shannon Bream in a Sunday post on Truth Social. He compared her program, Fox News Sunday, to CNN’s most unfavorable coverage and accused the show of repeatedly highlighting negative guests, charts, and polls.

Trump also criticized Fox News contributors Jessica Tarlov and Juan Williams. His message was blunt and focused on what he described as a pattern of coverage that ignores the administration’s claimed successes.

“Watching FoxNews with Shannon Bream is always like watching the Worst of Fake News CNN.”

Trump said he did not know Bream personally, but argued that her program routinely selects material that presents his administration in a negative light. He contrasted that coverage with a long list of accomplishments he says have taken place under his leadership.

That list included what Trump called total border control, a historically strong stock market, and the largest investment in the country’s history. He cited 81 record stock-market days in a year and a half and $19.2 trillion in investment. He also pointed to military victories over Venezuela, the denuclearization of Iran, lower crime and murder rates, high employment, stronger international respect, lower drug prices, and the rebuilding of the military.

Trump’s post also went after Juan Williams. He referred to Williams as someone who had been fired from PBS and removed from The Five. Trump recalled an encounter at Fox headquarters and quoted Williams as saying, “Could I have a picture with you? It would be such a Great Honor!”

Trump then turned his criticism back to Bream’s program. He said the show was “beyond redemption” and predicted that its ratings would fall. He also compared Bream unfavorably with former CNN host Chris Wallace, writing that Wallace had been bad but Bream was worse.

Trump followed up with another post focused on images shown during Bream’s program. He argued that the pictures of the military complex and ballroom site at the White House were outdated and did not reflect the latest construction work.

“During Shannon Bream’s show, they showed pictures of the Military Complex/Ballroom site at the White House. Unfortunately, the pictures were months old, before much work had been started. Now the hardest work is substantially complete with work on the roof/DronePort to begin very shortly.”

Trump also called Bream “Milktoast” to her friends and accused Fox News Sunday of being biased against MAGA, Trump, and Republicans. He added that Bream, Brett B, and others should stop showing what he described as “Fake Polls.”

The president tied that complaint to the November 5, 2024, election, saying polls had failed to capture his eventual victory. He cited wins in all seven swing states, the popular vote, 86% of counties, and the Electoral College vote of 312 to 226.

Trump ended his first post by saying he was returning to the Oval Office to continue working on what he called more triumphs and successes for the country.
