Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York showed a complete lack of congressional decorum during a House hearing on Wednesday when former Hunter Biden business partner Tony Bobulinski testified. As Bobulinski began to detail the crimes he claims he witnessed Joe Biden commit, AOC became visibly upset and repeatedly interrupted him.

During the hearing, Bobulinski alleged that in a May 2017 meeting between himself, Hunter Biden, and former Vice President Joe Biden, they discussed forming a business with a Chinese conglomerate. This is just one example of the numerous instances in which the Biden family has leveraged their political connections for personal financial gain.

AOC, clearly feeling the need to defend Biden, forcefully asked Bobulinski if he personally witnessed the president commit a crime. When he confirmed that he had, she demanded to know what crime he had witnessed. Despite his attempts to respond, AOC continuously interrupted him, displaying a blatant disregard for both the witness and the congressional hearing process.

Bobulinski attempted to explain how Biden had committed a crime, but AOC rudely cut him off, claiming that she was not familiar with the term “RICO,” a reference to the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. Instead of listening to Bobulinski’s explanation, AOC dismissed his statement, arguing that RICO is not a crime, but rather a “category.”

The truth, however, is that RICO is a highly serious criminal offense that covers a wide range of illegal activities, including bribery, fraud, and money laundering. If AOC’s argument was meant to defend Biden, it falls flat, as it only serves to highlight the gravity of his actions and the need for further investigation.

AOC’s behavior during the hearing is not only unprofessional, but it also reveals her true motives. She is not interested in seeking the truth or holding elected officials accountable for their actions. Instead, she is more concerned with deflecting and covering for her political allies, even if it means dismissing evidence and blatantly ignoring facts.

Furthermore, AOC’s insistence on interrupting and arguing with witnesses not only undermines the credibility of the hearing, but it also demonstrates her lack of knowledge on the subject matter. This is not the first time AOC has displayed a lack of understanding on important issues, yet she continues to posture herself as a knowledgeable and influential lawmaker.

Sadly, AOC’s behavior is just one example of the growing trend among Democrats to prioritize protecting their own over serving the American people. It is clear that these politicians are more interested in playing political games and protecting their own interests than upholding the rule of law and seeking justice for the American people.
