Breaking: Dem Mayor’s House Raided By Police, Drugs And More Found

New York Politicians are constantly under investigation. Just look at Cuomo he has numerous sexual assault allegations against him, yet he has no intention of resigning. Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren is no different. Her house was raided by the police and they arrested her husband for possession, but she feels this is not her problem…

The home of embattled Democratic Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren was raided last Wednesday in connection to a major seven-months-long drug investigation.

The mayor’s husband, Timothy Granison, was arrested and hit with two drug charges and one gun charge.

“Monroe Country District Attorney Sandra Doorley said during a Thursday morning press conference that authorities have reached out to Warren in connection to the investigation but have yet to get a response.

Doorley also promised forthcoming charges and refused to deny or confirm if Warren is tied to the bust.

Granison pleaded not guilty on Thursday morning to two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a firearm, according to Rochester First.”

The judge was unable to place bail due to the nature of the charges and Granison was released on his own recognizance.”

“There have already been 2 kilos of crack cocaine confiscated from the busts, which equates to a street value of more than $60,000. Three firearms have been confiscated and more than $100,000 in cash was recovered.

Doorley would not confirm nor deny Mayor Warren’s potential involvement in the investigation, including wire-tapping.”

Warren released a statement about the arrest of her husband.

“I find the timing of Wednesday’s events, three weeks before early voting starts, to be highly suspicious,” she said. “There’s nothing implicating me in these charges because I’ve done nothing wrong. I haven’t spoken to Tim since his arrest, and I’m not standing here to defend him.”

“Why would they do this now?” she said. “Because they saw, like you saw, that the momentum was building in our favor in the mayoral race, and I was going to be found innocent in my election law case, because I did nothing wrong. Let’s ask ourselves why. After I announced we were moving forward with reparations and universal basic income and dropping 1,500 lawn signs, billboards, and radio ads, they saw, like you saw. Let’s ask ourselves why, at the exact time that the police were knocking at my door, The New York Times, all the way from Manhattan, was sending me an email asking me about this?”

“Finally, we need to ask ourselves, If this is not about politics, why is Tim’s next court date June 21, the day before Primary Day?” she continued. “Now, that’s quite the coincidence. Now, when you figure out those answers to those questions, come find me, because I’ll be working.”

Watch The Clip Below.

It was a seven-month sting… The issue should not be why now, it should be why were you living in a home with 2 kilos of cocaine, and a mid-level drug dealer with your preteen child? This police raid shows that Mayor Lovely Warren can’t even take care of her home, how is she supposed to be taking care of a city?
