Breaking: Hamas Calls for Global Attack, A ‘Day of Jihad’ To Happen This Week

The Palestinian Hamas terror group has called for a global “Day of Jihad” on Friday the 13th, a day that commonly evokes fear and dread backgrounded by the holiday season of Halloween. The call to arms Hamas has made animates a holy war, or jihad, during which the terror group claims to have murdered more than 1,200 Israelis, wounded 3,000, and kidnapped over 100 in an operation referred to as the Al-Aqsa Flood.

From their perverse sources, Hamas has since exposed their malignant purpose to mobilize and rally support from Arabs and Muslims around the world and to offer violence and aggression to Palestinians and the holy city of Jerusalem. Such a sinister invitation to the world’s “free people” to mobilize in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their cause offends every sentiment of decency and compassion. So openly militant and commanding a call by Hamas occasions for the world in the terror organization’s words, of “sacrifice, heroism, and dedication.”

Hamas has incited its constituents in the West Bank, the “occupied territories of 1948”, to begin an uprising against Israeli soldiers, and on the same day encourages its Palestinian constituents to revolt against the state.

While horror films have predominately made a cultural legacy out of Friday the 13th, the terrors of Hamas’s terror attacks are all too real. The complex profundity of terror and destruction that Hamas has incepted is ought to be repudiated in the strongest of terms. Innately senseless and monstrous, its actions are not conducive to peace in the Middle East but rather heighten conflict and bloodshed.

Given the destructive nature of the terror organization, any calls to arms made by it should be met with opposition and global condemnation. The attitude held by Hamas must be addressed by world leaders, organizations, and citizens alike—these leaders, organizations, and people must strengthen ties in order to mobilize their communities in their common pursuit to bring violence to an end. It is only through the unified condemnation of terror that Hamas’s pernicious incitements and execution of destruction in warring nations can be stopped.
