As the liberal media continues to hyperventilate over President Trump’s unwavering commitment to securing the border and deporting illegal aliens, the administration is exploring every legal and constitutional tool at its disposal—including the suspension of habeas corpus, a measure previously used by three of America’s most respected presidents. During a recent cabinet meeting, a reporter pressed Trump on how he plans to overcome the endless injunctions from radical-left judges who are hell-bent on obstructing his immigration agenda.
“Have you spoken to your chief about ways to mitigate this and continue to deliver for the American people?” the reporter asked.
Trump’s response was measured but firm, signaling his willingness to take decisive action if necessary: “There are some very strong ways to mitigate it (the injunctions). One way that’s been used by three very highly respected Presidents, but we hope we don’t have to go that route.”
The suggestion of suspending habeas corpus—a constitutional provision allowing detention without immediate judicial review—has sent the left into a predictable meltdown. Yet, as the National Constitution Center notes, this power has been invoked during times of national crisis, including by Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War, Ulysses S. Grant to combat the Ku Klux Klan, and Franklin D. Roosevelt in World War II. With over 11 million illegal aliens flooding the country and activist judges shielding them from deportation, Trump’s consideration of this measure is not only justified but necessary to restore order.
Rogan O’Handley (DC Draino) raised this very solution during a White House press briefing last week, to which Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt affirmed that “Trump is open to all legal and constitutional remedies.” The left’s hysterical reaction proves they care more about protecting lawbreakers than defending American sovereignty. While the mainstream media paints Trump as a tyrant, they conveniently ignore the fact that past presidents—including liberal icons like FDR—have taken far more extreme measures in times of lesser crisis.

The hypocrisy is staggering. The same media that cheered Obama’s executive overreach now clutches its pearls at the mere suggestion of Trump using long-standing constitutional powers. But the American people see through the charade. They elected Trump to enforce the law, and if radical judges continue to block his efforts, he has every right to explore every avenue—including those backed by historical precedent.
