The horrific case of Mario Edgardo Garcia-Aquino, a 43-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador accused of molesting and murdering 13-year-old Oscar “Omar” Hernandez, has once again exposed the deadly consequences of America’s open-border policies. “No parent should ever have to endure the unimaginable pain and sorrow of learning their child has been murdered. Oscar simply boarded a train, and little did he or his family know that he would never return.”

Prosecutors have charged Garcia-Aquino with murder under special circumstances, making him eligible for the death penalty. Additionally, he faces felony charges for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old boy in Palmdale in February 2024.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna confirmed Garcia-Aquino’s illegal status, yet provided no details on how or when he entered the U.S. Shockingly, despite being an unlawful presence, he had no prior criminal record—until now. Luna described Hernandez as a talented young athlete, adding:

“We will continue to pursue justice and work tirelessly to ensure we bring closure to the victims and their families, while ensuring that such individuals face the full extent of the law.”

But where was the justice before this predator claimed another young life? Where was the scrutiny from the Biden administration, which has allowed millions of illegal aliens to flood into American communities?
