Check It Out: KJP Tucks-Tail And Runs During Interview

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s recent radio interview turned into a desperate attempt to whitewash the disastrous Biden economy, as she fled from follow-up questions that exposed the truth of the situation.

During a March 26 interview on 99.3 WBT’s The Brett Winterble Show, host and News Director Mark Garrison pressed Jean-Pierre on the high prices Americans are facing under Biden’s administration. When asked how Biden expects to win votes when people are struggling with limited disposable income, Jean-Pierre predictably deflected blame onto the previous administration, citing the pandemic and its economic impact as the cause for Biden’s struggles.

But what she conveniently forgets to mention is that Biden’s woes are much more recent and directly tied to his own actions, rather than anything Trump did. Jean-Pierre dares to criticize Trump for leaving the economy in a “tailspin,” yet disregards the fact that the pandemic began in early 2020, well before Biden took office. And while she’s quick to use that excuse for Biden’s failures, she conveniently ignores the immense success Trump had in reviving the economy prior to the pandemic.

In a stunning feat of twisted logic, Jean-Pierre then goes on to compare the economy under Biden in 2024 to that of 2023, implying that Americans should be grateful because things could have been worse. But this empty justification falls flat when one looks at the facts – gas prices have risen, inflation continues to skyrocket, and Americans’ personal savings have taken a nosedive. But in Jean-Pierre’s world, apparently any minor improvement is cause for celebration, despite the fact that Americans are still struggling under the Biden economy.

As Garrison pressed her further on the inflated gas and grocery prices, Jean-Pierre promptly hung up, clearly sensing the danger of having to answer for the blatant discrepancies and failures of the Biden administration. And with good reason – while Biden did tap into the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (meant for emergencies) and manage to bring gas prices down (though still higher than under Trump), Americans are still feeling the pinch at the pump and in their wallets. And with their savings dwindling, they have every right to be outraged and demand answers from the Biden administration.

Jean-Pierre’s quick exit not only highlighted her inability to defend the Biden economy, but also effectively avoided any challenge to her claim that grocery costs have gone down under Biden. However, the facts beg to differ. Prices have risen significantly since Biden took office, with an 18.5% increase overall and a staggering 5.6% average monthly inflation rate. The consequences of such inflation on American families cannot be overstated, yet Jean-Pierre conveniently chose to hang up before she could be held accountable for the truth.

WATCH

It’s clear that Biden’s loyal propagandist will stop at nothing to defend the failures of his administration and twist facts to fit their narrative. But the American people won’t be fooled. They are living the reality of the Biden economy, and they won’t be swayed by empty words and excuses. It’s time for the truth to come out and for hard questions to be answered.
