Former Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway made it clear on Monday that the Democrats are searching for an alternative to President Joe Biden in light of his potential inabilities to run in 2024.
“They want other Democrats in the mix in case Biden doesn’t make it, and in case he’s impeached,” Conway shared, indicating that the debate between California’s Democratic governor Gavin Newsom and Republican Florida governor Ron DeSantis was part of this preparation. She additionally noted that Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is also being propped up as a viable alternative candidate by the Democrats.
Conway went on to criticize Biden’s economic record, stating, “[W]e’ll let the House do what they’re doing on the impeachment inquiry. The public though, the polls, they left Joe Biden a long time ago.”
She pointed out problems with inflation, interest rates, gas prices, and groceries and also questioned whether younger voters would side with Biden due to his inability to deliver on student loan forgiveness and increasing housing costs. Conway called out his “foreign policy experience,” referring to reports of a “disgrace” regarding the Afghanistan withdrawal. She also condemned Biden’s initial refusal to comment on the Maui wildfire crisis, and expressed shock that he “allowed seven million people” to cross the border.
“Key point in the polls I noticed today. Sixty-six percent say that Joe Biden is handling the economy, Sean, quote ‘very poorly,’” Conway stated. In contrast, before COVID, she pointed out, “67% saying the economy was very good in January 2020.” She accused Biden of having a lackluster policy agenda and hinted at corruption surrounding him, all of which she believes voters will repel from.
I can’t say I am surprised that Democrats have a dooms day plan for Biden. The walls have steadily been closing in on the Biden crime family and voters are fed up with the current state of things.
