“The truth of the matter when it comes to ‘Bidenomics’ is that it’s nothing more than an economics of ‘everybody pays more,’” said Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida in an interview with Fox News on Wednesday. Citing the often-volatile Consumer Price Index—which had an annual rise of 4.9% in April, the highest seen in decades—DeSantis noted that it is becoming increasingly difficult for everyday citizens to make ends meet under Joe Biden’s administration.
Consequently, as noted by DeSantis, “People are paying way more for groceries, paying way more for other necessities like utilities, the cost of buying a new home has gone up dramatically because all the materials have gone up.”
DeSantis also questioned Biden’s success, claiming that “Most of those jobs [created] are jobs that came back after the COVID lockdowns, they weren’t necessarily over and above what a normal economy would do.” He went on to say that while other red states, including his own Florida, continue to buck traditional DNC policies and grow regardless, “it’s harder to make ends meet under Joe Biden as president.”
It appears as if Biden has yet to live up to the promise of his campaign mantra of “Build Back Better”. With mounting criticism about the president’s policies from both sides of the aisle, Biden perhaps must realize that the time to “get this economy back on track and make sure people are prosperous and secure” is rapidly approaching.
Time will certainly tell if Biden’s ‘Bidenomics’ will signify how he chose to define his presidency, but one thing is already becoming abundantly clear—Biden has yet to realize his original goal of making the economy better the everyday persons struggling to survive in a post-pandemic world.
Biden’s sick spending habits have not done any favors for Americans and you can bet that Bidenomics will continue to be a huge failure for taxpayers. We can only hope that voters remember this garbage at the polls and vote this sucker out of here, and his little VP too…
