Have you ever noticed how the media often goes out of their way to criticize and lecture black conservatives? It’s as if they think they know what’s best for black people and that they need to be “saved” from themselves.
This was made abundantly clear recently with the exchange between Don Lemon and Florida Rep. Byron Donalds. Lemon, talking about immigration, was trying to tell Donalds what he should do and how he should think about the issue. However, Donalds was not having it and had a strong grasp of the facts regarding the Biden administration’s policy on immigration. When Don Lemon tried to lecture Donalds, he was shut down and proved his point.
It’s almost as if the media has a vendetta against black conservatives and is more interested in pushing their own narrative rather than engaging in honest debate. It’s ironic that Don Lemon was so adamant about Donalds working with President Biden, when Lemon himself is one of the biggest critics of President Trump.
This speaks to a larger trend of racism within the Democratic party. Rather than actually listening to the other side, they are more interested in lecturing and telling black people what they should think and do. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and speaks to a larger problem of racism within the Democratic party.
The transcript of their conversation speaks for itself:
Lemon: “Maybe you should work with the president, rather than criticize him.”
Donalds: “That’s a great talking point, but the facts don’t support that. The Biden administration has been less than stellar when it comes to immigration. They’ve increased the number of people being deported and have separated families at the border. That’s not something that I can support.”
At the end of the day, this incident speaks to a larger trend of racism and bigotry within the Democrats. Rather than engaging in honest debate, they are more interested in pushing their own agenda and lecturing people about what they should think and do. This kind of behavior is not acceptable and should be called out whenever it is witnessed.
