Doocy And KJP Square Off Over Biden’s ‘Sock Drawer’ Documents [Video]

With the FBI search of President Joe Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware coming just days after a fourth batch of documents with classified markings were found, questions are swirling about whether Biden is involved in a cover-up. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tried to downplay the significance of the search, but Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy wasn’t having it.

At a Monday briefing, Doocy asked Jean-Pierre if there is a “precedent for people running for president after the FBI searched their sock drawer?” Jean-Pierre tried to absolve Biden by saying he takes classified information seriously and is focusing on delivering for the American people.

Doocy wasn’t satisfied and pressed Jean-Pierre further, asking if Biden was involved in a cover-up. She simply repeated that Biden takes classified information seriously. But many of Biden’s own party members aren’t convinced. Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin called Biden’s situation “outrageous” while Sen. Joe Manchin said Biden should have “a lot of regrets” and admit he was “irresponsible.”

KJP pulled a classic ‘gaslighter’s’ move and told Doocy that his question was laughable, but listen close—Do you hear anyone laughing?

The Justice Department has found classified documents from Biden’s tenure as a senator and vice president in his home, garage, personal library, and the Penn Biden Center think tank. This has led to a special counsel being appointed to investigate, with Robert Hur leading the charge. It is clear that the FBI search of Biden’s home was only the first step in uncovering what really happened with Biden and the classified documents.

Watch

Sadly, Biden has chosen to remain silent on the matter and rely on Jean-Pierre’s spin. It is time for him to come clean and be transparent about the investigation. The American people deserve to know the truth, and they deserve to know if their president is involved in a cover-up. After all, no one should be above the law.
