Durbin Goes Toe-To-Toe With Bernie Sanders Who Urges Everyone To Side With Putin

I can’t pretend to be shocked that socialist Democrat Bernie Sanders argued on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The life-long socialist says that Putin’s concerns are legitimate. Sanders used his time on the Senate floor to argue with Senator Dick Durbin, urging that we walk a mile in Putin’s blood-red shoes.

“I only ask my friend from Illinois to put himself into the mindset of Russians,” Sanders said.

Sanders certainly took his time to make his point but the takeaway was that Sanders believes the US needs to sympathize with Putin:

“Vladimir Putin may be a liar and a demagogue, but it is hypocritical for the United States to insist that we as a nation do not accept the principle of spheres of influence,” Sanders argued.

Durbin believes that the time for peace talks is over. US Intel suspects an invasion will take place sometime on or around Wednesday unless something new develops.

“Should we not put ourselves a little bit in Russia’s position in understanding that if we consider Latin America, Central America, the Caribbean within our sphere of influence – the right to intervene – that Russia itself might have some legitimate concerns about military forces five miles from their border?” Sanders demanded.

Putin has made his position clear. The UN and US will either meet his demands or he plans to invade. He currently has the country flanked from all available sides and has been conducting military exercises right at the Ukrainian Southern border.

The US, France, Australia and other countries have pulled their diplomate from Ukraine as the White House warns all Americans to get out now. Biden went a step further vowing not to send troops in on a rescue mission for any Americans left behind.

On Sunday, Biden and Putin were reportedly in negotiations for over an hour that ended without a resolution.
