George Takei’s Disgusting Take on Murder of Nursing Student Will Make You SICK!

George Takei, the outspoken and openly gay actor known for his role as Lt. Hikaru Sulu on “Star Trek,” has once again caused controversy with his extreme leftist views. But this time, he may have gone too far by using the tragic murder of a nursing student in Georgia to attack a Republican politician and make himself the victim.

In a post shared on Saturday, Takei responded to a message by Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson, who expressed his condolences for the loss of University of Georgia student Laken Riley, allegedly murdered by an illegal immigrant. Johnson also called on President Joe Biden to take action and close the border to prevent similar tragedies from occurring.

Takei’s response, however, was not sympathetic towards the victim. Instead, he attacked Johnson, claiming that politicians like him are responsible for the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II. He went on to say that Johnson’s tactics of “smearing” and preying on people’s fears have led to the “shattering” of many lives.

Apart from making Laken Riley’s murder about himself, Takei’s claim is also historically inaccurate. The internment of Japanese-Americans during WWII was ordered by Democratic President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and his party, which had significant control in Congress at the time. Johnson, on the other hand, is a Republican and therefore plays no role in these past actions.

Takei’s insensitive and self-centered response to the murder of a young woman sparked outrage and drew criticism from many. Instead of addressing the issue at hand, Takei once again tried to use a tragedy to promote his own agenda and attack his political opponents.

This is not the first time Takei has made controversial statements on social media. He often uses his platform to push leftist propaganda and attack those who hold different political views. Last August, he claimed that anyone who questions the U.S. funding for Ukraine is being controlled by Russia, and the previous year, he asserted that it is our “patriotic duty” to pay higher prices for goods as long as it means hurting Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Takei’s blatant disregard for the victims and their families in favor of pursuing his own political agenda is disgusting and disrespectful. He is a prime example of someone who tries to turn everything into an opportunity for self-promotion and spreading divisive and false rhetoric. Laken Riley’s murder is a tragic event that should have been met with sympathy and support, not political grandstanding and accusations.
