GOP Gov Kills Dem’s Big Plans For A China-Run US Company

It’s becoming increasingly clear that Democrats have their own agenda when it comes to the United States of America. Former governor Terry McAuliffe’s recent attempt to build an electric car battery plant in Virginia, run by a Chinese company, is a perfect example of this. Thankfully, Governor Glenn Youngkin (R.) was quick to put a stop to it.

The battery plant was ostensibly owned by the Ford Motor Company, but it would have been run by a Chinese company, Contemporary Amperex Technology, who also would have owned “the technology used in building the battery cells,” according to the Virginia Mercury. Governor Youngkin said Wednesday that he’d halted plans to build the factory.

Governor Youngkin knows firsthand how the Chinese Communist Party works, as he is the former CEO of the Carlyle Group, a private equity firm. He understands that the CCP’s “objective is global dominance at the expense of the United States.”

Thanks to Governor Youngkin, this potential loss for the US has been stopped in its tracks. This is a major win for US patriots, and a huge loss for Democrats. It’s clear that Governor Youngkin is putting US patriots’ interests first here, and it’s a great example of what we should expect from our leaders.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time McAuliffe has attempted to put US patriots in second place. The news broke in 2021 that a top McAuliffe fundraiser “solicited Chinese investment in the Washington, D.C., area.” This isn’t the kind of activity we should expect from our elected leaders.

We can only hope that Governor Youngkin’s move will set a precedent and that no matter who is in power, the United States of America will always come first.

We don’t want to let Democrats turn this country into a puppet of the Chinese Communist Party. We need to stay vigilant and make sure that our leaders are putting our interests first.
