Senator Lindsey Graham demands retribution after a complete and utter failure in confidence from the Biden administration following the insane withdrawal from Afghanistan. Countless Americans, allies, and US assets were left behind by Biden and in the hands of American enemies. Reports show that amount the abandoned assets left behind are US fighter jets and weaponry.
During an interview with George Stephanopoulos, Biden denied that the situation could have been handled better. Now that the situation has continued to devolve, Biden has pushed blame off on intelligence and even the previous administration.
When Stephanopoulos asked if there was a better way, “No. I don’t think it could’ve been handled in a way that- we’re going to go back in hindsight and look but the idea that somehow there was a way to have gotten out without chaos ensuing, I don’t know how that happens,” Biden said.
“So for you, that was always priced in the decision?” Stephanopoulos followed.
“I can’t believe what I heard from the State Department briefing podium by Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman. She went through all of her efforts to improve the lives of Afghan women going back to 1997 and now believes that those words matter”, Graham wrote.
“The Biden Administration has abandoned Afghan women!” Graham tweeted. “The fate that awaits Afghan women, at the hands of the Taliban, is a direct result of the Biden Administration’s failure to adequately plan for an ill-conceived withdrawal.”
