The Senate Judiciary Committee hearing descended into chaos after Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) delivered a blistering takedown of the Democratic Party’s relentless efforts to undermine President Donald Trump’s agenda through radical judicial activism. Cruz didn’t hold back, calling out Democrats for their blatant disregard for democracy and their obsession with sabotaging the will of the American people.
“Democrats today HATE Democracy,” Cruz declared. “Democrats today are angry at the voters for re-electing Donald Trump… And they engaged in lawfare to stop democracy from operating.”
Cruz exposed how Democrats, furious over Trump’s 2024 victory, have resorted to forum-shopping—seeking out the most extremist judges in the country to block the President’s policies through nationwide injunctions. “Now that their efforts to indict President Trump and stop voters from re-electing him have failed, they are going out to seek radical judges to shut down policies,” he said.
The Texas senator then delivered a devastating truth bomb about the Democratic Party’s priorities: “We, the Democrat Party, we are the party of illegal aliens… We are the party of murderers and r*pists and gang members in your communities.” Cruz’s words struck a nerve, highlighting how Democrats have abandoned law-abiding citizens in favor of open borders and radical policies that endanger American lives.
Unsurprisingly, Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) couldn’t handle the truth. Instead of refuting Cruz’s claims with facts, she resorted to hysterical gaslighting, screeching, “We love democracy!”—a laughable assertion given her party’s relentless lawfare against Trump. Klobuchar then lost her temper, shouting, “The only reason why there’s all these INJUNCTIONS is because (Trump’s) violating the Constitution!”
Cruz fired back, “Why don’t you file them (lawsuits) in red districts? Why are Democrats seeking out left-wing loons…”—exposing the Democrats’ blatant judge-shopping scheme. Klobuchar, visibly flustered, could only respond with sarcasm: “It’s so exciting to be following Sen. Cruz once again.”
The Minnesota Democrat then pivoted to whining about Trump’s “Long live the king!” Truth Social post, proving once again that the left has no substantive arguments—just outrage over memes. “We do NOT live in a kingdom and Elon Musk is not his court jester!” she ranted, completely missing the point.

Meanwhile, the liberal media—always eager to protect Democrats—will undoubtedly spin this hearing as another “unhinged” Republican moment while ignoring the real issue: the left’s desperate attempts to nullify the 2024 election through lawfare. Cruz’s fiery defense of the rule of law and Trump’s America First agenda should be applauded, not mocked.
