It’s no secret that the Biden administration has been attempting to cover up the evidence that the COVID-19 pandemic could have originated in a lab leak in Wuhan, China. When Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich confronted press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on the matter, she attempted to dodge the question by praising Joe Biden for ordering an investigation and calling out political attacks against Dr. Anthony Fauci.
But what Heinrich was really asking was whether or not there were lessons learned about how to discuss theories when we don’t have all the answers. In other words, was the White House willing to acknowledge that it was wrong to dismiss the lab leak theory as a conspiracy in the beginning?
Unfortunately, the answer appears to be a resounding no. Instead of admitting that it was wrong to discredit the lab leak theory, the Biden administration has doubled down on its censorship. Corporate media outlets like The New York Times, Washington Post, and NPR have all attempted to downplay the lab leak theory while Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler went as far as to discredit it in May 2020.
It’s time for the Biden administration and the corporate media to come clean about the lab leak theory and its possible implications. We have a right to know the truth, and if the White House is going to continue to ignore the facts, then it’s time for the American people to take a stand. We can’t allow ourselves to be silenced any longer. It’s time to demand the truth.
This is yet another example of how Democrats have sought to downplay and discredit any suggestion that COVID-19 could be anything other than naturally occurring — even though many experts had already raised this possibility last year.
