Peter Doocy with Fox News was once able to ask Biden directly if he had any involvement in his son’s foreign business deals. Biden’s answer at the time was an unequivocal ‘no’. Well, all things come to light eventually and now the White House has to answer for more seedy evidence from the Hunter Biden laptop.
One article of interest is a voicemail left by big daddy Biden where he referred to a deal Hunter was making with China. The same communist country that Biden has removed the tariffs from now.
Doocy was able to question Press Secretary Jean-Pierre about it and her response is nothing short of infuriating:
“Why is there a voicemail of the President talking to his son about his overseas business dealings if the President has said he’s never spoken to his son about his overseas business dealings?”
Jean-Pierre snapped, “Well, first, I’ll say that what the President said stands. So if he — if that’s what the President said, that is what stands.
And second — secondly —”
Doocy interrupted to point out that Biden was specifically discussing a NYT article about Hunter’s shady business. =
Jean-Pierre: ” We’re not — from this podium, I am not going to talk about alleged materials from the laptop. I will — I am not —”
He let her slide on her implication that the verified laptop is ‘alleged material’, which at this point is just insulting.
Here is the part I found unforgivable, Jean Pierre refused to do her one job. She referred Doocy over to Hunter’s lawyer to explain Biden’s misconduct explaining that it was their problem.

Transcript straight from the White House:

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: But secondly —

MS. JEAN-PIERRE: We’re not — from this podium, I am not going to talk about alleged materials from the laptop. I will — I am not —
Q So are you disputing that it’s President’s voice on the voicemail?
MS. JEAN-PIERRE: I am not going to talk about alleged materials on a laptop. It’s not happening.
Q Are you disputing then that it is not —
MS. JEAN-PIERRE: Peter, I refer you to his son’s representative.
Q Okay.
