It comes as no surprise that the Biden administration trotted out Principal Deputy Press Secretary Olivia Dalton to take the place of White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates. On Tuesday, Dalton got put to the test from some hardballs questions about the Biden economy, Hunter Biden’s corruption, and the reception of Team Biden’s policies.
The Fox News Channel’s Jacqui Heinrich led the charge with questions about Hunter Biden’s recent invitation to the State Dinner and Camp David, asking what message Biden was trying to send. Dalton clung to the argument that all presidents have families and must, sometimes, invite them to the White House and refrained from further comment.
New York Post’s Steven Nelson followed up with questions regarding Attorney General Garland’s clarification about accusations of perjury, as well as queries about Obama’s alleged plea to Biden not to run for president. However, Dalton refused to answer.
Mary Bruce from ABC News lobbed a softball to Dalton, asking why the divide between “the economic successes” and the “way Americans are actually feeling about the economy” exists. Dalton gave her standard spiel about Biden’s economic policies of increasing infrastructure and “educating and empowering” workers.
Ed O’Keefe from CBS News was not one to buy Dalton’s spin, demanding to know why the American people “grade the President so poorly on his handling of the economy” despite Team Biden’s “touting of what they have done”. Dalton resorted to blaming the pandemic and Russia, but O’Keefe called out the spin.
Fox Business’s Edward Lawrence raised the stakes yet again, questioning if Bidenomics should be known as “an era of high inflation and rising unemployment”. This time, Dalton proudly stated that the US had the “lowest inflation than any other major economy in the world”.
It’s becoming more and more apparent that the Biden crime family and the Department of Justice are protecting one another. Calls for the Biden administration to be held accountable and answer tough questions should not be dismissed. We must not be fooled by their propaganda – the American public deserves answers.
