Leaked Video: “Get Out of My F*cking Shot!”, Katie Porter Rips Into Staffer in Abusive Outburst

A newly unearthed video has exposed the true character of California gubernatorial candidate Katie Porter, revealing a shocking and abusive outburst directed at one of her own staff members. The video, obtained and published by Politico, captures an incident from July 2021 during an online exchange with Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm. In a moment of unvarnished vitriol, the former Democrat Congresswoman can be seen and heard viciously lashing out at a masked staffer who had the temerity to be visible in the background of her shot.

The liberal media often portrays figures like Porter as champions of the working class, but this footage provides a starkly different narrative. As the staffer attempted to correct something Porter had said about electric vehicles, the candidate’s reaction was not one of gratitude or collaboration, but of pure, unfiltered rage. She shouted, “Get out of my f*cking shot!” at the employee. The hostility did not end there. Porter continued her tirade, pounding her fists on the table and snarling, “You also were in my shot before that. Stay out of my shot.” This is not the behavior of a strong leader, but of a petty tyrant abusing her power and demeaning a subordinate.

In response to the video’s release, Porter released a nonsensical statement to Politico that utterly failed to address her vile language and threatening behavior. She told the outlet, “It’s no secret I hold myself and my staff to a high standard, and that was especially true as a member of Congress.” This is a classic political non-apology, attempting to frame abusive conduct as mere high standards. She then added, “I have sought to be more intentional in showing gratitude to my staff for their important work,” a hollow statement that rings entirely false in the wake of seeing her pound the table and scream obscenities at a staffer simply for being in her “shot.”

This incident is not an isolated one, but rather part of a clear pattern of belligerent and nasty behavior from the Democratic candidate. Just one day before this video surfaced, Porter melted down during an interview with journalist Julie Watts. When pressed on whether she would need votes from supporters of President Donald Trump to win the California governor’s race, Porter responded with arrogant dismissal. She asked, “How would I need [Trump voters] in order to win?” and arrogantly proclaimed, “If it is me versus a Republican, I think that I will win the people who did not vote for Trump.” This displays a profound contempt for a huge swath of the American electorate, the very people who support the America-First policies of President Trump.

The Porter meltdown continued as she tried to end the interview when Watts dared to press her further on the topic of Trump voters. This contempt for voters, combined with her abuse of staff, paints a picture of a deeply unpleasant and power-hungry individual. Further cementing this reputation are past allegations, including a report that she “poured scalding hot mash potatoes on her ex-husband’s head.” Furthermore, she threatened Irvine Mayor Farrah Khan over text, writing, “I am a United States Congress woman. You can lecture me on professionalism. And see what happens.” This is not a public servant; it is a bully who believes her position makes her untouchable.
