Mark Halperin, an influential journalist and political analyst, has once again sounded the alarm for Vice President Kamala Harris. In a recent interview, Halperin stated that Harris is on a downward trajectory in crucial swing-states and is in danger of losing the upcoming presidential election.
“Things aren’t moving right for her,” Halperin said. “She’s in a lot of trouble. The conversation I’m having with Trump people and Democrats with data are extremely bullish on Trump’s chances in the last 48 hours. Extremely bullish.”
According to the RealClearPolling averages, former President Donald Trump and Harris are in a tight race in the top seven battleground states. However, the latest private polling Halperin has seen shows that Harris is struggling and both Democrats and Trump affiliates he has spoken to agree that the former president is moving into a stronger position to win these states.
The journalist went on to name six states that he believes Harris is in danger of losing – Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, North Carolina, and Georgia. He added that Democrats are not confident in her chances in these states and are worried about her performance in the upcoming election.
“I don’t know any Trump person who says they’re worried about losing any of the seven,” Halperin stated. This comes as a major blow to Harris and the liberal media, who have been touting her as the future of the Democratic party.
Halperin also made it clear that Harris could lose any of the six states mentioned and that the Democrats are less worried about the seventh – Nevada. This means that she could potentially lose the election if she fails to secure these crucial swing-states.
He further added that Trump affiliates are confident in their chances of winning the sun belt states – Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina. They also believe they are “stronger in Pennsylvania than [Harris],” which is considered a must-win state for the vice president to secure victory.
Despite Harris launching a media blitz consisting of friendly interviews, Halperin is not convinced it will help her in the polls. He believes that Harris’s best interviews are where “nothing horrible happens” and that she is not driving a clear message to the American people.
In fact, CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten stated that if Trump outperforms his 2024 polling by the same margin he did against President Joe Biden in 2020, he will secure enough battleground states to beat Harris by a large margin. This is a worrying prospect for the Democrats and a sign of Trump’s resurgence in the political arena.
Halperin’s comments once again highlight the concerns and doubts surrounding Kamala Harris’s ability to win over crucial voters and secure the election. It is clear that the liberal media’s constant media coverage and attempts to boost her public image are failing to sway the American people and gain their trust.
In conclusion, it is evident that Harris’s chances of winning the upcoming presidential election are in jeopardy. Her struggles and lack of strong messaging, along with Trump’s resurgence, are a major cause for concern for the Democratic party and the liberal media. Only time will tell if Harris can turn things around and secure the vital swing-states needed to win the election.
