Ghastly images have surfaced, showcasing a horrific ethnic cleansing campaign in Syria against Alawites and Christians, masterminded by the extremist Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) militia. The death toll has tragically soared to an estimated 7,000 since Friday. In response to calls for assistance from Alawite leaders, Israel launched air strikes on Monday night.
Despite the unrelenting severity of these massacres, the mainstream media continues to turn a blind eye to the genocide in Syria’s Latakia province, which is a stronghold of the Alawite minority. Desperate Christians are resorting to social media to cry for help, though their pleas are often overshadowed by narratives that skew the reality of the catastrophe.
Richard Spencer’s Jihad Watch exposed the chilling rhetoric of a militant commander associated with Jolani, who openly incited violence through his microphone, rallying his followers: “To the Mujahideen, do not leave alive any Alawite, male or female. The most respected among them will be slaughtered. The most respected Alawite woman will be slaughtered. Slaughter them all, including the children in the bed. These are pigs. Take them and throw them into the sea.”
Pamela Geller disseminated a heartbreaking appeal from a Syrian Alawite citizen: “I apologize for writing to you from a fake email, but I fear for myself if my identity is known. I beg you with all forms of begging and request, help us stop the rivers of blood in Syria… We no longer have any hope of life on this earth, please help in any way.”
The reported death toll is believed to range between 7,000 and 10,000. In a purported attempt to cover up their crimes, HTS militants allegedly dispose of bodies in the sea and cleanse roads of blood to create a deceptive scene for media outlets such as Al Jazeera.
In a courageous request, Alawite leaders reached out to Israel, asking for military reinforcement and international intervention. Their appeal underscored how “the entire world has remained silent about our injustice.” They emphasized the necessity of confronting extremist Islamic threats, likening HTS to groups like Hamas.
In the wake of the violence, Israeli Air Force jets targeted sites in Syria overnight, with Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz condemning Jolani’s duplicity: “(Abu Mohammad) Al-Jolani took off his jalabiya, put on a suit, and presented a moderate facade. Now, he has removed the mask, revealing his true face…”
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar lambasted European leaders for their willingness to engage with the likes of Al-Sharaa, despite their jihadist foundations. He called for an international denunciation of the “barbaric murder of civilians.”
Astonishingly, just a month ago, the European Commission granted Al-Jolani $235 million and even extended an invitation to him to visit Brussels. Meanwhile, the Biden Administration earmarked $1.2 billion for Syria in 2024, despite HTS’s ongoing terrorist activities. President Trump, however, had wisely instituted a 90-day pause on all foreign aid.
Graphic Warning:
In a statement, Secretary of State Marco Rubio declared, “The United States stands with Syria’s religious and ethnic minorities… and offers its condolences to the victims and their families.”
Yet, the mainstream media continues to depict HTS leader Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa, better known as Abu Mohammad Al-Jolani, as a moderate figure whose militia somehow spiraled out of control.
