The liberal media’s relentless smear campaign against conservatives and Trump allies hit another low when MSNBC host Ayman Mohyeldin had to scramble to correct his guest, Danielle Moodie-Mills, after she falsely labeled Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard a “Russian agent.” Moodie-Mills, host of the far-left “Woke AF” podcast, made the outrageous claim during a discussion about former Green Beret Joe Kent’s nomination to lead the National Counterterrorism Center.
“I really hope that alternate universe me is really enjoying, like, a life that is nicer than where we are right now in this hellhole. You know, why are we shocked? She’s — you know, we learned that she was a Russian agent. They celebrated her, you know. So why do we think that?” Moodie-Mills said.
Mohyeldin, clearly aware of how reckless the accusation was, immediately pushed back: “We learned that she was a Russian agent?” When Moodie-Mills doubled down, Mohyeldin pressed further: “Where did we learn that?”
Moodie-Mills then cited Hillary Clinton’s 2019 baseless claim that Gabbard was being “groomed” by Russia—an allegation Clinton never substantiated. “From Russia. We had it mentioned by Hillary Clinton during her debate. Like, should we look into Tulsi Gabbard?” she said.
Mohyeldin, to his credit, shut it down: “Unproven.”
But this incident is just the latest example of the left’s shameless propaganda machine, which spent years pushing the debunked Russia collusion hoax to undermine President Donald Trump. MSNBC was one of the biggest offenders, repeatedly hosting then-Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who peddled false claims about Trump’s supposed ties to the Kremlin. Now, they’re targeting Gabbard—a decorated Army Reserve officer who served in Iraq—simply because she dared to break from the Democratic Party and support Trump’s America First agenda.
Moodie-Mills didn’t stop there. She tried to justify her smear by pointing to Russian media coverage of Gabbard, Tucker Carlson, and Trump—as if appearing on foreign news outlets is evidence of treason. “Very strong allegations. And I don’t know anybody else that gets celebrated on Russian television other than, I don’t know, Tucker Carlson. Right? Right. And Donald Trump. Right?” she said.
This kind of guilt-by-association rhetoric is exactly what the liberal media uses to demonize anyone who challenges their narrative. Gabbard, a veteran who has served her country honorably, doesn’t deserve this kind of slander. But the left doesn’t care about facts—they care about silencing dissent.
President Trump, meanwhile, continues to champion strong, independent leaders like Gabbard and Joe Kent, who put America first instead of bowing to the globalist establishment. While the left smears patriots as foreign agents, Trump is building a team that will actually defend this nation.
