The corporate media’s left-wing bias is so extreme that even when it isn’t far enough for some, it’s still way too much for just about everyone else. Such was the case recently during Inside With Jen Psaki when Bernie Sanders, the self-proclaimed socialist from Vermont, was interviewed about his new book, “It’s OK to Be Angry About Capitalism.”
The conversation between Sanders and Psaki quickly got heated when Psaki asked why he chose to write a book trashing capitalism. Psaki listed other issues people should be angry about, such as abortion and gun reform, but Sanders didn’t want to hear it. He wanted to talk about income and wealth inequality and corporate ownership of the media. Psaki pointed out that they were already discussing these topics, but Sanders was not satisfied and kept pushing.
It’s absurd that Democrats think they can demand complete subservience from the media. They just want the press to carry their water and when they don’t get it, they melt down like children. It’s clear that Psaki and other hosts on MSNBC are in the tank for the left’s anti-American agenda. The fact that she wasn’t talking to Sanders about his obsession with confiscating the wealth of rich people at the moment he was on with her doesn’t mean she’s not biased.
It’s time for the corporate media to stop spreading propaganda for the Democrats and start reporting the truth. The American people deserve to know what’s really going on in their government and the media has a responsibility to provide that information.
Unfortunately, Sanders and his allies’ attempts to control the narrative will likely continue, but the media must not back down. They must report the facts, no matter how much it may upset the socialists.
The fact that Psaki lost control of her own show by bringing deranged Sanders in to discuss ‘hot topics’ is laughable to me. Did she really think he was going to spew anything but socialist propaganda?
