Oops She Did It Again! Kamala Caught Lying About Abortion Laws

Vice President Kamala Harris recently paid a visit to Iowa, pushing her strong abortion stance with a pro-abort speech and a post-event discussion with ABC News’ Linsey Davis. However, in her efforts to decorate the murder of unborn children with a moral veil, she lied about abortion bans and used false generalizations to push her agenda. The Baptist pastor claiming to be faithful while advocating the end of life for an entire group of people – how have we come to this?

“One does not have to abandon their faith or deeply held beliefs to agree the government should not be telling her what to do” Harris boldly said during her speech in Iowa, but this blatantly false statement was immediately taken to task by social media users who responded swiftly and with heat. “Maybe not in your Satanist Playbook…but the rest of us, ya we do” or “It would be an abandonment of the beliefs of any religion I can think of (apart from leftism),” users argued against her attempt to change morality in favour of the pro-abortion movement.

Moreover, Harris proclaimed that abortion is “a fundamental freedom” for women, which is an absurd statement for multiple reasons. First, it is unfeasible for a human to grant someone the “right” to exercise his or her will and power over the life and death of another human being – in this case, an unborn child. Second, having unprotected sex as the root cause of an unplanned pregnancy is a conscious and active decision, so it’s not fair to then claim that a woman has a right to absolve herself of the consequences of such decision.

Not only that, but VP Harris also seemed to have forgotten that most Americans are not in fact in favour of unlimited abortions, as Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life, pointed out. This is just another example of a demagogic tactic employed by Harris and other liberal media to disguise the truth and fabricate support for the despicable act of terminating the life of the most helpless.

The same could be said of Harris’ claim that abortion bans will not help women who are suffering from miscarriages. Nothing, of course, could be further from the truth. Abortion bans protect unborn babies from being terminated – a miscarriage, in contrast, happens in the case of a spontaneous and unintentional death. To equate a miscarriage to a woman wanting to have an abortion is a twisted logic that any rational and honest person can see through.

It’s almost awe-inspiring how much energy some people are willing to expend in order to justify the ending of a life – and even more worrisome the capability of individuals such as VP Kamala Harris to deceive the public with false claims. It’s not only a moral fiasco that she’s attempting to promulgate, but a crime against the truth.
