During a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’a Al-Sudani on Monday, President Joe Biden was caught on camera with a sheet of instructions in his hand. This has sparked yet another episode in which Biden appears to require guidance to fulfill his duties as commander-in-chief, earning him the nickname “commander-in-cheat” from the New York Post.
Reportedly, Biden frequently checked his script for instructions as he was expected to address the recent attack by Iran on Israel and receive translations from an interpreter. The White House has released a statement on this, quoting Biden’s words, “As you know, Iran launched an unprecedented aerial attack against Israel, and we mounted an unprecedented military effort to defend Israel. Together with our partners, we defeated that attack.”

This meeting has not been received well by some members of the Republican Study Committee, as they express their concerns about the decision to host the Iraqi Prime Minister at the White House and the overall Iraqi policy. According to them, despite the massive amount of money and effort invested in Iraq over the past two decades, the country is now firmly under the control of Iran.
This is evident not only in Iraq’s institutions but also within the Prime Minister’s own government, which includes two U.S.-designated terrorist groups. The recent attack on Israel by Iranian-backed militias in Iraq is further evidence of this.

The Republican Study Committee also points out that the U.S. has effectively allowed China, Russia, and Iran to dominate Iraq, despite the significant commitment of resources. This is a concerning state of affairs, especially when considering that this meeting followed a direct attack on Israel by Iranian forces.
The Republican representatives also remind Biden of his April mistake, where he was caught with a notecard bearing the name of Los Angeles Times journalist Courtney Subramanian and a pre-written question, during a press conference.
Two questions Biden should have asked Iran's puppet in Baghdad:
"So why did you let Iran use your airspace, and why did you try to deny our use of our bases in Iraq to defend Israel?"
"Why don't you use your U.S. trained ISOF units to target Iran's Iraqi militias firing at… pic.twitter.com/Bno7Xkp2lf

Biden’s reliance on cheat sheets and script prompts has been a recurring theme since he took office. In November, he was publicly criticized for apologizing after he had forgotten the name of a CBS reporter that his staff had told him to call upon. This was not an isolated incident; in fact, in April, he was caught with a similar cheat sheet that included the names and pictures of reporters he was expected to call upon during a press conference.

The use of cheat sheets and lack of preparation by the President raises concerns about his ability to fulfill his duties and responsibilities effectively. It also highlights the significant influence his staff has over his actions and decisions, prompting questions about who is truly leading the country. As the leader of the free world, it is essential for the President to be well-informed and prepared without relying on cue cards or notes. These incidents not only bring Biden’s capabilities into question but also reflect poorly on the reputation of the United States on a global scale.
