The Afghanistan evacuation was a disaster of epic proportions that gave our enemies all the incentive they need to act up. It made us look weak on the global stage and it was even more foolish that the plan for the stranded Americans was to rely on the Taliban to make it home safely. So now after the Taliban invited all of our adversaries to be there when they formed their new government, the Biden Admin is getting upset with the new leaders of Afghanistan. They are upset that the government is not inclusive…
“The State Department on Tuesday expressed concerns over the makeup of the new interim Afghan government announced by the Taliban, including the lack of female leaders and the past actions of some of those appointed to top posts.
A State Department spokesperson said in a statement shared with The Hill that although the Taliban “has presented this as a caretaker cabinet,” the U.S. “will judge the Taliban by its actions, not words.”
“We have made clear our expectation that the Afghan people deserve an inclusive government,” the spokesperson added.
The statement went on to note that the list of names announced by the Taliban earlier Tuesday “consists exclusively of individuals who are members of the Taliban or their close associates and no women.”
“The announced leaders come after the Taliban last month specifically called on women to join government offices in an apparent attempt to portray itself as a more moderate version of the group that previously enforced extreme laws on women and girls…”
“Last month, U.S. diplomat Ross Wilson warned that the Taliban could face “international isolation” if its leaders failed to followed through on their expressed commitment to diversity and inclusion.
In addition to concerns about the alleged lack of female-identifying government officials in Afghanistan, the Biden administration also expressed its disapproval of the “affiliations and track records of some of the individuals” selected. That’s a polite way of saying that some of the Afghan cabinet leaders are known terrorists with American blood on their hands.
The Taliban announced on Tuesday, for example, that wanted terrorist Sirajuddin Haqqani will serve as the country’s minister of the interior.”
What did they expect from a people that still follow sharia law? To top it off the Taliban also elected a known terrorist o their government. These are the people in charge of insuring abandoned Americans get home…
