State Dept: Code Pink Linked To China
The State Department delivered a blunt report to Congress this week. It flags Code Pink and other far-left groups as vectors of Chinese influence operations.
The report, titled “Countering Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference,” says China uses nonprofit networks to spread propaganda. It names Code Pink, the People’s Forum and organizations tied to the Singham network.
Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy Sarah Rogers called out that problem directly. “Partisan hacks spent years peddling the phony Russia collusion hoax while turning a blind eye to the sprawling web of far-left activist organizations who push the agendas of the Chinese Communist Party,” she said in a statement. “Organizations like Code Pink and the People’s Forum denigrate the United States, whitewash the violence of Marxist regimes, and run cover for China while enjoying an influx of cash from a donor network with connections to the Chinese Communist Party,” Rogers added. “The State Department will pursue complete transparency for the donor and NGO networks that lobby for our adversaries and seek to weaken the resolve of the United States.”
That’s a direct, no-nonsense take. It’s also a call to action. If groups are getting money or direction from Beijing, Congress and law enforcement need to know who’s behind the checks.
Code Pink has a long history of high-profile protests. They started as an anti-war group. They’ve staged dramatic interruptions and protests for years. Critics say their activity spikes when Republicans hold power and quiets down when the political winds shift. Now, with President Donald Trump in the White House, they’re back in the spotlight — and the State Department isn’t treating the matter as just theatrics.
Republican lawmakers wasted no time weighing in. They argue this confirms long-held suspicions that hostile foreign influence uses American nonprofits to push narratives that weaken us.
What happens next matters. Transparency on donors. Clear disclosure from NGOs. And serious follow-through from federal watchdogs. This isn’t just about protests. It’s about who’s shaping the story Americans see and why.
I’ve long called for an investigation into Code Pink’s ties to the Chinese Communists.
I’m glad @StateDept is taking action. https://t.co/U1JkkbQOUd

Code Pink is a Chinese influence operation, tied to the Singham Network funding the violent uprisings across America with CCP cash.
Time to wake up to what’s really going on, America. https://t.co/3KhVm1Lyzr
