It’s a sad sight to see President Joe Biden pander to the crowd at Howard University, a historically black college, by claiming that “white supremacy” is the most dangerous “terrorist threat” America faces. It’s an even sadder sight when Biden blames former President Donald Trump and his supporters for being a threat to democracy and attacking them multiple times during his presidency.
What’s even more disheartening is that Biden’s rhetoric has intensified since the Aug. 8 FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, the Florida estate owned by Trump. What has Biden really done to help the Black community since he took office?
Instead of addressing the real issues plaguing the Black community, Biden and other Democrats are busy lecturing Black Americans about the need to fight “systemic racism” and “white privilege.” These are just convenient buzzwords meant to keep the Black community in an oppressed state and make it easier for the Democratic Party to maintain a stranglehold on the Black vote.
Democrats are telling Black Americans that they can’t get ahead because of bogus “systematic racism” that doesn’t even exist. This is just another way for Democrats to keep the Black community in a perpetual state of oppression and keep them from achieving the American Dream.
Biden’s rhetoric is simply a distraction from the real issues plaguing the Black community and it’s a shame that he’s only paying lip service to the Black community while doing nothing to actually help them.
Instead of wasting time and energy on blaming Trump, Biden should be focusing on real issues such as crime, poverty, education, and economic opportunity. He should be actively working to create better job opportunities for the Black community and doing something to help reduce crime and poverty in their neighborhoods.
The Black community deserves better than what Biden is offering and it’s time for him to start taking real action to help the Black community instead of just pandering to them with empty rhetoric.
